In order to heighten the impact of Sidney R. Baer, Jr.’s legacy, The Sidney R. Baer, Jr. Foundation is looking to partner with both fully-funded and other grant-making organizations to expand the reach of our vision.
It is our belief that collaboration can bring about a stronger catalyst for positive change in the mental health industry than any single institution can influence individually. The Sidney R. Baer, Jr. Foundation has an excellent track record of success and thanks to the savvy investment strategies of both Sidney R. Baer, Jr. and the current board of trustees, we are currently self-sustaining. It is not our aim to increase our own financial standing, but rather find opportunities to join forces with other stable organizations to help ensure a brighter future for those suffering from schizophrenia and/or bipolar disorder. Good candidates for collaboration include hospitals, universities, and government programs.
